Dog-God
by Heather Baker
I lost my Katie last year. My husband and I adopted her from a pug rescue. She was such a good girl, and I miss her every day. She was with us for 8 years, we adopted her when she was 8. I wasn’t prepared to loose her. Upon the loss, I realized the teachings that she had bestowed upon us. Unconditional love, with nothing in vein. No mirrors or handbags. Just honest love. No material. And so happy to greet me upon arrival no matter what a bad day I had. That’s why I say dog is god spelled backward
