Benjamin was a 12 year old Sheltand Sheepdog that leaves behind his daddy and he Sheltand Sheepdog sister Candi. Benjamin was a family member, just like my child, just like my son. The 12 years we spent together were the best. He brought so much joy to my life. His intelligence and lovable nature kept me smiling in the good and the bad times. All the comfort and puppy kisses he gave over the years will never be forgotten or washed away. I miss my Puppy Boy. I could share endless stories about Benjamin that would show how much he meant to me. But the ones I thing I will remember the most is his love for his bone treats, begging for my food, and his way of waking me up to say "Daddy, it is time to get up" by scratching the bed side. The house is alot quiter now without his presents. Life as I know it has changed, I have lost a dear friend. The tears may stop flowing, the pain in my heart might ease, but his memory will never fade and Daddy's eternal love for his Puppy Boy and best friend will never die. Benjamin left this world for his Rainbow Bridge meadow on Sept 7, 2001. To soon for me to have to let go nor was I ready for him to pass. I know he is in a better place, looking down upon us. He is in God's hands and no longer in any pain. Benjamin, one day we will be together again, until then I will prey to/for you, miss you, and look forward to the day we meet again to cross our Rainbow Bridge together.
