One Little Drink
by Tammy Friesen
ONE LITTLE DRINK Little fuzzy fur feet Sitting pretty in the sink. Just to get one little drink. Can't help but see her Sitting so pretty in the sink. Her eyes saying please Without even a blink. With a smile and a wink I'll ask her "Oh, do you want a drink?" Then on goes the water. Drip, Drip, Drip. Purring and lapping Enjoying every sip. Still sitting so pretty in the sink, Getting all wet For that one little drink. Now that Rocky is gone So empty is the sink. And no one is begging anyone For that one little drink. We all miss her, and often think. We sure hope in Heaven There is a big sink. One with plenty of room For her One Little Drink.
