Nunu, My Beta Fish
by Donya Fleming
I am a seven year old little girl named Donya. Nunu was my first beta fish. She was very friendly and she kept me company. Nunu died on Sunday and I have been planning her funeral with my family's help. My mommy gave me a small jewelry box with tissue paper to bury her. My aunt, who is a minister, is reading the Rainbow Bridge poem at the funeral. Nunu's death is teaching me how to say goodbye to those I love who die. Some friends are coming to the funeral to help me say "GOODBYE NUNU". Maybe you can use this for your little children, too.
