A dream that can't come true
About a friend that has been called
A friend of me and you
With fuzzy feet and dangly ears
A bark that's like a knife
I have a wish that every dog Could live for my whole life

I get that there'd be many
I think that'd be ok
To have them all to follow me

To have a friend who's life is short
