It is 2 years today since I lost my best friend. Simon was a scruffy little abandoned kitten when we picked him up 17 years ago. He grew to be almost 18 pounds of double pawed laid back cat. He would follow me around and howl when he did not know where I was until I called him. We have since rescued 2 kittens that were in the same situation. They are wonderful in their own way, but still don't fill the hole. We loved Simon greatly and will miss him always.
