I wanted to write this story because of the tragic and nusual events that occured with our puppy, Mr. Fella. From the first day I brought him home I knew he was special dog lover or not Fella captured your heart. We live in Florida and were going to drive back to New York for the holidays Mr.Fella was also going to come with us on this road trip. On the way up the driver fell asleep at the wheel and we were in a pretty bad accident, luckily everyone including Fella was OK but the car was totaled. When we arrived in New York finally everyone there also loved this large puppy. The night before we were supposed to go back to Florida Fella got out of the yard and ran into the street when he was hit in the head by a car and the driver took off. My boyfriend found him moments later on the side of the road thinking the worst was over Fella was gone and not suffering. As soon as he heard my boyfriends voice the now blind and scared puppy lifted his head and tried to hold on. A woman and a priest arrived the woman took them to a hosipital where they tried to save our baby but 7 month old Fella was called to heaven where he would be in no more pain. I wasn't tehre to say good bye and we were completly devestated. We came back to Florida as planned and called the man we got Fella from to say thank you for such a good puppy and told him the story of what had happened. The man replied " I dont know if you belive in fate but his mother was accidently impregnated by the same father and she was due the next day." We may not understand why things happen and it's almost immposible to get over anything like this but I would like to believe theres a rhyme and reason for everything and this helped me get through these tragic times.
