The Cat That Touched My Heart
by David Boyle
I Had A Black And White Tabby That Touched My Heart Not Particular Pretty But Oh So Smart

She Had Long, Long Legs And A tail Like A Whip Everybody That Saw Her Said That Cats A Trip

A Fluffy White Face And White Paws So Flat Boy She Was A Silly Cat

She Was A Stray Two Or Three They Say But It Didn’t Matter Anyway

She Would Lay In The Sun Overlooking A Pool Wow She Thought This Is So Cool

But Like All Good Things In Life It Must Come To An End She Had Kidney Failure Goodbye My Friend

She Died On A Saturday While In My Arms Body Tattered She Could Cause No Harm

Goodbye My Friend For Now We Must Part, That’s The Story Of The Cat That Touched My Heart
