Kya-Lee
by Frank Cordisco
Kya-Lee When we awoke this morning On this beautiful day in May Our joy was changed to grief Because Kya-lee had passed away And we silently prayed to God above As we bowed our heads and cried For when Kya-Lee had passed away A part of us had died Kya-Lee was a golden one A dog who was our friend And even though he had passed on We knew this was not the end And the only way that we Could ever be whole again Is when we cross the Rainbow Bridge With Kya-Lee, our dog, our friend For my friends Beverly & Frank Cordisco Ephraim J.
