Back in 1992 mom brought you home. A baby Doberman who was tired of living in the pet store. The first thing you did was run over to me and lick my ear. At the instant you and I bonded as friends and buddies. As the days went on I got mom to let you sleep next to me. Soon you became a bed hog, demanding that my side of the bed was mostly your half. As the years went by we traveled from California to Alaska and finally ended in Iowa. As I watched you chase bunnies and everything else in the yard, I was most happiest. Soon though time would take it's toll on your body. You got old and began to slow down but your heart never lost its love for us, your mom and dad. The day you left was a sad one and it weighs so heavy on my heart. But I know you are free of pain and once again healthy to run and play. I will miss you Boo Boo, your were the best buddy a person could ever want. One day I will come to the bridge and call out your name. When you come have Mr Carrot and we will play as we once did, free of pain and heart spilling with love. I will miss you and think of you often. In my dreams I will laugh, run and walk with you. I love and miss you, buddy, rest in peace. Your buddy, Chuck, ako Daddy Dog.
