Goodbye for now
by Maureen Catlow
Goodbye for Now M. Catlow ` Feb 16 '02 It's beautiful here at the bridge, Though my leaving broke your heart. Nothing has changed the love we have, Although we're now apart. ~ When I arrived here I was greeted, By Gods gentle, loving touch. I was told that I would meet again, The ones I love so much. ~ We have only love here, No pain or sadness dwell. Those old or quite infirm, Are young and completely well. ~ I see you sit and cry for me, But please remember this. When gentle breezes flutter by, I am sending you a kiss. ~ I have to say goodbye for now, I hear the angels call. We are going for a run they say, Maybe play some ball. ~ I'll wait here at the bridge for you, So until that day and time. I am forever yours, As you're forever mine. Love, Kendal
