Are you there?
Is that you padding around in the shadows of my mind and heart? I hear your gentle purr in my dreams, and awaken to the feel of your sweet breath on my neck. I hear the sound or your feet running across the floor upstairs, yet no one is here but me. I see you in the shadows, in the last light of day.

Are you there?
Are you in between two the worlds when the light is at the very edge of darkness? I catch glimpses of you from the corner of my eye, but, you vanish when I look. Is this a game of hide and seek until we meet again? You, forever, walk in my mind. Are you there?
