Daisy
by Louise Carlini
DAISY 8/14/1991 - 6/30/2004 A flower of a face Bouncy step, full of grace Always true, never blue This was Daisy Proud of stance Would often "dance" In her prime she could mountain-climb! This was Daisy She had a long and happy life Not too much sorrow, not too much strife We loved her so, but had to let go of our little Daisy If you read this, shed a tear Especially if you knew our little dear But only be sad for a little while, Then remember her with a smile. Daisy died in my arms on the way to the vet to have her put to sleep. She went so quietly, we didn't even realize it happened. Just like her, to never make a problem.
