Sooner or Later, as we all know
There comes such a loving friend,
Who captures or hearts, our thoughts, and our souls
We try not to think of the end.
Sooner or Later, this one great love
Who has given our lives so much
Must go on ahead to the Rainbow Bridge
So far from from the comfort of touch.
We know in our hearts that she's happy there,
Yet, why won't the tears go away?
In her short life, she gave all that she could
And the love in her eyes would still say,

And leaving's not easy to do.
But Sooner or Later your pain will be joy
