for christmas of 95. i got a present. her name was precious and she was a poodle. my papa got a poodle named sugar. precious was a lot smaller than sugar. sugar liked me more than my papa. and precious liked papa more than me. so papa said we could switch and we did and that is the way it has been for 9 years . sugar and precious are half sisters they have the same daddy but different moms.in 2002 sugar started to run into things and her eyes were a light blue color. i knew someting was wrongbut my nana and daddy didn't believe me. then i showed her and my mommy convinced her that we needed to take her to the vet. finally my nana did and the vet said she was blind. i was right. a couple of months after that precious started getting blind in one eye. then in 2003 precious got blind in both eyes.
today it was a normal day my papa went to work, fed the dogs, but i was sick so i had to stay home from school. the dogs both seemed fine. it turned 12:00 and my papa came home from lunchand he saw vomit and diahrea everywhere. he found sugar behind the chair. he picked her up cuz she looked like she had been sleeping. then he put her back down and she fell over. so we rushed over to the vet's office. but no vet's are there. they are out to lunch until 2:00. and right now it is 12:30. and they place close to them is the same way. so we leave sugar with them. finally my papa goes up there and doesn't want me to come because he expects the worst and he is correct he comes home and says the couldn't do anything because she had kidney failure.
NOW SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE. RAINBOW BRIDGE. WE WILL MEET AGAIN AS WE CROSS THE BRIDGE TOGETHER. I LOVE YOU SUGAR.
