Daimler; it has been one year ago Christmas Eve that you where hit by a car and passed away. We now have Benz, but we will never forget you and the gentlness that was part of you. Daimler, a gray Miniature Schnauzer, was 4.5 years old when he got away during our drive back from our Christmas trip in 2000. Daimler was always a happy puppy and Benz is also a happy puppy. Mercedes is not too happy with Benz, but she missed Daimler so much that we had to find another puppy to take his place. Daimler I wish I could turn back the clock, but Benz does help whenever I am having a bad day. Benz is a white Miniature Schnauzer and he is just full of life, where as Daimler was quiet and just let life come to him. We can not drive on the road that took Daimler's life, infact we will go miles out to avoid that road. I have learned that no matter what you keep the leash on your dogs, because they do have a mind of there own and if something distracts them, it could be too late by the time you get to them as was the case with Daimler. Daimler, even through your gone and Benz has moved in we will alway remember you. We placed your picture and story on our web page and have hung up your stocking on the fireplace. You were important in our life and we will always have a place for you in our hearts. God Bless - O
