Chrissie,Star,JJ,Holly...my own fur babies...gone to live at Rainbow Bridge. Shelties all four...Each with her/his own personality...happy and loving all the time...some one...(JJ) was quite the character...always thinking..mostly how to drive me nuts in the obedience ring...yet..we completed our CDX with scores of 195,198 and 193..Not too bad I'd say..At the age of 13 we took JJ,2 of his "kids" and 2 "grandkids" to a sheltie speciality and as they were all over the age of 8 we showed them in Veterans obedience..Not a dry eye in the house when they all were lined up for the sits and downs.....My old gray "J-Bird" went to Rainbow Bridge quietly in his sleep... I miss you so. Chrissie...my sweet dignified lady of the group...you were always ready to please..always knew I could count on you..ready and willing to perform even at the age of 16 when you won your last Veterans obedience class..with a VERY handsome score of 196 1/2..loved your cheese and was not bashful about letting everyone know when it was time for bed..standing in the middle of the living room staring and then looking toward the stairs.. Chrissie went to Rainbow Bridge after a valant fight with cancer..love and miss you my love...Star...well she was for sure her "own dog" my daughter's 4-H project..she was rescued and very shy..at first..then obedience happened...and she was meant to do this...heeled with her head straight up looking at her trainer...won high in trail a couple times with scores of 199 and 198 1/2...loved to play hide and seek...and would howl when she found you..Star's life was cut short by a trash truck...without so much as telling us that they had run over her...she got out of the yard and was protecting her domain..hope you are happy my silly old girl...Holly...nicknamed..the hound from hell...she was black as the ace of spades...very particular about who she liked and didn't...especially my daughter's boyfriends...she would sit and stare at them...very intimidating...good judge of character..Holly..I hope you are not being bossy to the other..Holly was taken from us by cancer...Love you black dog!!
