He came into my life determined to "go back to his home." But they abandoned him. I said he "wasn't my kind of dog." But I would shelter him and bring him to the Rescue site every Saturday.
Each Saturday became more and more difficult for both of us.
My husband banned dogs from our home for more than 25 years. Finally, he said, "Do what you want." So I stopped taking him to the Rescue to be adopted.
He was 9 years old at the time. After 4 years and 1 month and the best medical support money can buy, Cody and I could not part.
I cannnot ever Thank God and Cody enough for the immeasurable amout of immense and unconditional love I receive.
I am so devestated to have lost my perfect Love. He has taught me so much. I can sympathize with Parents of others. He is
the perfect gift from God.
My only hope is to follow and strengthen my Faith as otherwise I feel all is hopeless.
I pray daily to Thank God,see his Beauty, and to be with Cody again.
