Heaven's not so far away
When you look up in the skies,
The clouds and birds that you see fly by,
Remind your heart of spring butterflies,
Heaven's not so far away,
When darkness falls at night,
Every little thing you hear,
Could be your last tonight,
But you rarely ever think about it,
Until the time is near,
Heaven's not so far away,
In the evening time,
When the sun is settling in its place,
And the trees sway in the breeze,
Everything seems quiet at the time,
Not a single sad thought runs through the mind,
But heaven's not so far away,
When you think about it,
We'll all be there someday,
Now is not the time to worry,
Just the time to pray,
That everything turns out alright in the end someday
