Only memories now

Oh what a time it was,
It was a time of innocence, a time of confidences.
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph
Preserve your memories, they're all that's left to you.

So many losses, so much grief. I remember every happy moment with tears
now, knowing that those moments are gone forever, they exist only in those photographs, and in my heart and soul. Let the memories live again.
In memory of all my furchildren, and all the people that I have loved who are now gone from this Earth.
