Samson, he was a wild and rowdy dog.
Yet, he slept peacefully like a baby.
He was cute and cuddly like a teddy bear when he was a puppy,
And big and strong as an adult dog.
Until that tragic day,
That day when he ate something he shouldn't have eaten.
The vet gave him medicine, but he couldn't make it.
It got too intense.
Why, why did he have to go?
I cried until I could cry no more.
Instead, I thought about good memories with him.
And I pretended he was still here,
What he would be doing right now, if he had only survived.
If Samson survived.
