Rootbeer

My guinea pig Rootbeer, or Rootie as we used to call her died on november 2 2001 at 11:00 pm. She died in my dad's arms. I am so lucky to have had her and I want her to know just how much I miss her. We have another guinea pig and she comforts me when I miss Rootbeer. I remember when Rootbeer got her head stuck in a toilet paper roll. She was so small because she was the runt of the litter. Rootbeer was not very old when she died. She was sick. She stopped eating and didn't drink and all she did waslie around in her house all day. She died happy. We found a special place in our yard to burry her right between some Ivy and a little tree. We are going to plant some Forget-me-nots over the place where she was buried. My dad keeps telling me that she went to a better place and I believe that, but i'ts hard to beleive she's gone! I wish that I could have had just one more day with my sweet little Rootbeer. I was at camp when she died, so I never really got to say good-bye. My mom used to bring Rootbeer into my bed in the morning and Rootbeer would just sit there as happy as a guinea pig could be and lick my face. My love for Rootbeer is indiscribable. I miss her SO much I just want Rootbeer to know that I love her and want her to be happy and not miss me too much. I love you Rootbeer. Rootbeer's best friend
