I am unable to reach the portal back to reality
For me it is brutality
To think of you
And what I never knew
Of your pain
But, now I have nothing to gain:
Why have you left me so soon?
Ive been crying for you past noon
I remember when I held you tight
That I replay on sleepless nights
Until you took your last breath
And then came death:
Lady, my dear
There is not one day I havent shed a tear
I often think I see your shadowy figure at night
With none of your inside light:
What will become of me?
It feels as though Ive been locked in my sorrows for all eternity
Even though your doggie life was short please believe, youve been terribly missed
It seems weve reached the end of our rainbow
