Bunny J. Joseph Rabbit

The wet cold Friday of May 28th will be the day I will never forget. You were too weak too stand. Perhaps the coldness and dampness of the day crept into your feeble bones. You seemed fine the day before. I saw you struggle to get down the stairs. Then, you didn't want to go outside, despite the fact that going out was your favorite thing to do in the world. Then it happened. You fell onto your side when you shook the cold spring rain off your back. This was not the Frazier we know and love. This was a best friend telling us that it's time. And with no hesitation, we did you one last favor and called Doc. He knew it was time. We all did. I cannot believe how much I miss you. I have a lump in my throat so big, I can't even breath at times. You were so good to me. You protected me. I was never alone. I love you forever. Momma
