My little buddy I miss you more than words can describe. You were so precious and I'll never forget the night you saved my life. From then on you followed me everywhere I went. Always by my side. You sat at my feet while I was in the kitchen and I had to always look down before taking a step. You loved laying in the sunshine and rolling in the grass. Sweet potatoes was your favorite treat. My heart is breaking as I into each room and see the areas you liked to take naps. I miss the way you ran to your favorite toy, dropped it near my foot and touched my leg with your nose letting me know it was play time. So many memories and to much silence. Without you to greet me at the door when I walk in breaks my heart all over again. You loved running around in the snow. Long walks in the spring and fall. You were a perfect boy when traveling and staying in hotels. Zeke you were a special little dog and will always have a special place in my heart. The night you crossed the bridge, you were laying beside me in bed and when I woke up your little body was completely still. With a broken heart I wrapped you in your quilt and carried you to the vet for cremation. Sweet boy, my time comes you will go with me. Run free with your brother Zack. Love always my precious little buddy. |
