Welcome to Zachary Moses's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Zachary Moses
He was such a love. He loved lying by my side or lying across my lap, stretched out to full length, and being petted, rubbed and brushed. I think most of all, he loved his tummy rubs. He would nudge my hand to have his head and big ears scratched. He remained playful all his sixteen years. He loved to chew on his catnip toys and would carry a favorite from place to place. His favorite sleeping place was under the front room windows, behind the drapes. When any stranger came to the door, he'd run to his favorite hiding place behind my recliner and wedge himself into a tiny hidden space. He was definitely a one-woman cat, and didn't much like anyone else. He got along with Mariah and Mila, but claimed me for his own, and didn't like sharing me with them. He knew the house rules and respected them. I could talk to him about many things, and I'd swear he knew me well. He just loved jumping in my lap the minute I sat down, but hated being picked up. All in all, he was one sweet cat, who made my life so much richer by being in it. I will love him forever.
