Memories of Yogi Bear
Yogi Bear was a small abandoned kitten who survived his first months of life by hanging out with a band of cats who took him in, and eating from garbage till his human mom was able to capture him at the age of three and a half months old. He was terrified of humans and took a while to accept being domesticated. He finally got used to the idea by having 60 international students coming through his home over the first four years of his life, enjoying the great outdoors as well as the comfort of the indoors, and finally became the beloved pet of three young children, who he saw grow up, and was mommy's favorite fur child. After having an adventurous life and living to the ripe old age of twenty plus human years, Yogi Bear peacefully passed away, with the help of Compassion Vet Montreal. After suffering for quite a while in the last year and a half of his life, trying everything medically possible to help him go on, we were able to let him go in a dignified and humane way at home, with the help of two amazing women who were so caring and professional. Thank you Compassion Vet Montreal, for making a painful situation, so peaceful... Yogi, you will be terribly missed... 🐾🐈‍⬛💕
