Wang Wang was a young mother dog in China. She was brutally tortured and killed, along with her 2-week-old puppies. I will omit details, but this senseless act was committed by several individuals, all under the age of 14. Wang Wang was a gentle soul, rumored to have been cared for at one time, by the killers' family - the ultimate betrayal. She came to them because she knew, and trusted them. I am crushed by this. I will never understand how anyone could do this to a defenseless animal. Since there are no national animal-welfare laws in China, nothing has been done to the youths, because China says no crime has been committed.
