Wally was my little boy, my best friend. He followed me everywhere and loved me unconditionally. He was tragically killed by strangers trespassing on our private mountain road. I loved that little boy with all my heart and he will never be forgotten. Just two weeks before he was killed we took a vacation. Wally went with us to Florida and had the time of his life. It was funny watching him chase crabs on the beach and get sand all over his nose. He tried to wipe off the sand by using the sandy beach. That only resulted in him getting more sand on his nose. He made me laugh, he made me happy. I will always cherish his memory and will miss him forever. He was my angel. I hold onto the hope that I will see him again. That is the only thing that makes the unbearable, bearable. Wally, your mommy and daddy love you and miss you.

Wally, I miss you more each day. I try to think of good times and happy moments, but I am still so sad that you are no longer here with me. You have a new little brother, William. He is named after you. He does not replace you, you cannot be replaced, but he reminds me of you. We love him just as we love you and always will. I hope you are happy, running through green meadows and lapping water from crystal clear streams.
Untill I see you again. remember that your daddy loves you and always will.

Wally, I still miss you and think about you often.

Wally, I was looking through your photos yesterday, and still miss you terribly. I think about you often. It's been three years now, and I hope that you're at peace. I envision you running free through green meadows, lapping up water in a cool stream, and then settling down with your favorite bone. You are always in my heart.

Wally, I still love you and miss you. I have your photos on my phone so that I'm always reminded. I know that I'll see you again one day my precious boy.
