Memories of Tigger
You left us a week before Christmas this year. You went downhill so fast it was almost like a dream; and it still is. We picked up your ashes the other day, now you and Alley are sitting near where you used to sleep upstairs. I still expect you to come into the room announcing yourself, Rowr rowr, Rowr, rowr.....especially when there was ice cream around. At least you and Alley are back together again, and neither of you are in pain anymore. You were my Tigg Tigg, my nice normal, funny, personable cat.

When you and Alley first came to live with us, you were so scared you slept in the litter box the first night. At least you and Alley had each other and you got used to your new home and grew up with each other. You'd romp around and play, then you'd sleep together like two little furry balls of fur.
You were her protector. She loved Zippo, you couldn't stand him.

I remember one bitter cold week a few years ago (like it is now), somehow you got out of the house. We looked everywhere for you, but you were nowhere to be found. I put notices in all the neighbors mailboxes and one night you came back home. Wow, what a scare you gave us.

Last year when you started getting sick, you gave us quite a laugh. When TicTac was being his weird self, we heard you two scuffling upstairs (I know you were trying to sleep and he was being annoying) next thing we saw was Tic Tac dangling off the upper landing; hanging on for dear life with a scared look on his face. We still laugh about you kicking his butt.

So many memories, where to start. I will come back and add them and photos as I remember them. My heart still expects to see you come into the room purring and being charming.

Please also visit Zippo.
