Memories of Scamp
Scampy's and Julie's song: I Love You Always Forever, by Donna Lewis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Those days of warm rains come rushing back to me/ Miles of windless summer night air/ Secret moments shared in the heat of the afternoon/ Out of the stillness soft spoken words/ Say say it again/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ You've got the most unbelievable brown eyes I've ever seen/ You've got me almost melting away/ As we lay there under blue sky with pure white stars/ Exotic sweetness a magical time/ Say say it again/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ Say you'll love me forever / Never stop never whatever/ Near and far and always and everywhere and everything/ Say you'll love me forever/ Never stop never whatever/ Near and far and always and everywhere and everything/ Say you'll love me forever/ Never stop never whatever/ Near and far and always and everywhere and everything/ Say you'll love me forever/ Never stop never whatever/ Near and far and always and everywhere and everything/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ I love you always forever/ Near and far closer together/ Everywhere I will be with you/ Everything I will do for you/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Julie's note about Scampy: Scampy was our baby, and our best friend. He was by far the sweetest, most loving, most trusting, most devoted, best play buddy in the world. Scampy was my super sized sheltie(21 inches at the shoulders), with a super sized personality. He would do anything for anyone, without question. He was always ready to play fetch, go for a walk, just cuddle, or learn new tricks. If I could make the perfect guy it would be him, in fact, I would be jealous of the person he chose to marry. He will always be my first baby boy, and the first guy I ever loved. :) He will forever be remembered for what he was. The most perfect creature ever created, and I'm so happy that we were the family who got to share his time with him on earth. I'm just sad that it was so short. He will be forever loved by our Family: Julie, Susan, Katie, Peter, and the cats. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Susan's song to Scampy- Josh Groban - To Where You Are Who can say for certain Maybe you're still here I feel you all around me Your memories so clear Deep in the stillness I can hear you speak You're still an inspiration Can it be(?) That you are mine Forever love And you are watching over me from up above Fly me up to where you are Beyond the distant star I wish upon tonight To see you smile If only for awhile to know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are Are you gently sleeping Here inside my dream And isn't faith believing All power can't be seen As my heart holds you Just one beat away I cherish all you gave me everyday 'Cause you are mine Forever love Watching me from up above And I believe That angels breathe And that love will live on and never leave Fly me up To where you are Beyond the distant star I wish upon tonight To see you smile If only for awhile To know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are I know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Susan's Note to Scampy- Dearest Little Scamp- How do you say good-bye to someone who has been such a part of your life?? You have been such a good friend and I will miss you so much. Whether it was joining me on those long walks, sitting by my feet, or having that little paw of yours scratching my leg for food, food, food, you were always there. And I think you really knew what we thought... those brown eyes of yours could look into our hearts. I'm sure you knew how sad we were that you were so sick. Your scratch marks on the back door will never be removed so we will always have a little reminder of you each and every day. Forever in my thoughts.... Love, Sue xoxoxox
