Memories of Sammie
Sammie liked to ride on a float in the middle of my swimming pool. He had his picture taken with Santa twice. He was a real lap cat and loved to sleep with me, especially resting on my head. He would let me hold him on his back...just like a baby. He was my baby and I will never stop loving him. Today is the first anniversary of Sammie's passing over the RAINBOW BRIDGE, it is Feb. 24th, 2006....I cannot believe it has been one year....I miss you baby boy...I hope you have found C.C. since she just passed over the Bridge on Jan. 21, 2006. My wish is that the two of you are playing together and waiting for us to be rejoined. In the meantime, I have acquired two more fur babies, of course they will never take your places. They are both boys, one is a Persian named Snickers, he is quite the Price Charming and the other one is a Bengel mix named Latif. They are getting to know each other. I just could not have a home without fur babies...you and C.C. spoiled me. We have also moved from the big house in Cordova to a condo in East Memphis...you would have loved it...lots of sliding glass doors to look out. I miss you and love you...think of you every day. Sammie, it has been sometime since you went to heaven and I still miss you each and every day. I hope you have found C.C. since she joined you. I miss her as well. with much love, hugs and kisses, Mommy. Sammie, so much has happened since I last wrote you. Your Grandmother passed in October 2009 as the result of a stroke...she had been in a nursing home for about a year. Aunt Elaine just passed on September 30, 2015 so I am just left with my fur babies. Snickers passed in June 2015 so it has been quite a sad time at the condo. Latif still keeps going and going, he is like the energizer bunny and I also acquired a little girl who is all black and I named her Ebony Jane....she picked me as she was in my backyard. I also took in another stray just a few months ago....his name is Ivory Snow.....he is all white with gray tail. He is the sweetist boy......just like you and never makes a sound. So I am back at three and each one is so loving in their own way. I miss you everyday.....Love, Mommy.
