Memories of Susie
I'll never forget that day i found you my sweet Susie! It was the day before Thanksgiving 2002. You had been picked up by the Sheriff, cause your owner had died and you were tied to a tree abandoned. my groomer called me about this little dog that was brought in for grooming and that i should take a look! I took you home that day! I'm so glad you found me! I had lost two dogs the same year, so i didn't think i wanted to get another yet. I believe it was mean't to be! You were the perfect dog for me at that time in my life. The vet guessed your age to be around 7 by your teeth! You soon became a very big part of my life. The first year i had to have your ears operated on, because you had bad infections and polyps. It was successful and you had to wear a collar for a couple weeks, which wasn't funny but it looked funny. I took lots of pictures! And my son Don was living at home so he helped me give you a bath. You had bad skin problems so had to use special shampoo! You blessed me for 5 short years, wish you could have stayed longer, but you had heart problems, and God decided it was time for you to go.
I will miss our walks in the park and going for rides! And you were always waiting by the back door when i came home. I could spend a lot of time with you because i am retired! You were like my shadow, following me around the house. I miss your presence everywhere. But you are not suffering and are all better and running with Tinker and Goober and all the other angel fur babies!
Thank you for all your unconditional love, you will live in my heart forever. So long for now my little friend.
love and hugs from your Mom [Marion] and your friend Don who loved you too!

In Nov. 2007 I heard about a little Chihuahua girl needing a home to retire from having babies!
I felt that it was meant to be that i give her a home, so i started another journey with a sweet "little" dog named Wiggles! I felt that you would want me to share all the love you and i had shared with another dog that needed love. Wiggles [Wiggy] is 8 yrs old and after having many pups, has finally retired to a "plush" life that she deserves!
She is not at all like you, and thats good because i could never "replace" you my sweet Susie!
You are in my heart forever! I'm sure you and Tinker are enjoying your perfect suroundings at Rainbows Bridge.
I know you are a shining star smiling down on me, and i feel your spirit everywhere.
See you again some day sweetheart!

I lost my sweet Wiggy girl July 19,2013 she was losing her vision and it caused her to become fearful and confused. I had to make that dreaded decision to have her euthanized.
She was 13 and I enjoyed 5 1/2 years with my sweet little Chihuahua...

Please also visit Tinker.
