Snow white came into our lives less than a month ago but little did we know the impact she would leave on our lives. Snow White was adopted from a local pet store. We had no idea that she was gravely ill when we adopted her. After a couple weeks Snow White stopped eating on her own. I took her to an exotic veterinarian who prescribed her pain medication to keep her comfortable. They had an x ray done which came back fine. I was then informed by the vet she probably had a neurological disorder and she would have to be hand fed. For the last couple weeks of her life Snow White was hand fed food and water. I would set my alarms and wake up to feed her. I would do a clicking noise with my mouth to let her know I was there to feed her as she lost her vision in the final days. She was the sweetest hamster I have ever known. She was loved beyond words by me and my daughter. I hope we will meet again one day where we are free from pain and in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.|
Dear sweet Snow White I think about you a lot and I miss you daily. I know that you are at the Rainbow Bridge where you have tons of animal friends to play with. It gives me peace knowing you are free from pain. I love and miss you.
