Welcome to Skittles's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Skittles
On December 11th 2003 you were born only to come into my life. You were full of energy and fire. At the time you can and we had 2 more furbabies in the house Rocket and Rosy. All three of you had the same marking Black and tan marking. The vet use to laugh when we brought you in, you were meant to be a Rottweiler but we forgot to water you. Who knew a Dachshund by the name of Skittles would rule the roost. You were my companion, therapist, my rock. When you had your babies you were a great mother and your children turned out just as good as you. Annie and Copper were a great addition to our family and you passed your good qualities to them. Annie and Copper both were loving and caring and knew what to do when you needed them. |
All of you loved the water. Your preference was the hot tub, the sneaky way ya'll would walk around the edge and end up in the water. You loved the beach, the lake, and bath tub. You made yourself comfortable anywhere there was people. You loves to snuggle up right next to you. You were a great watch dog too. Nothing got past you unless you knew them, and when you knew they were ok you would bark when they got up to leave because you didn't want then to leave.
You had a heart of gold and you tender and caring side was needed you right there. You passed your wisdom on to future furbabies that came into the family. A fine example, when Cinnamon had her first litter of puppies she didn't know what to do and you were there to help her through it and showed what to do. You were a great babysitter too. I could go on about the amazing qualities you gave to our family and there are not enough words I could say about you other than my heart is broken and I miss you sooooo much, I know you are in a better place, you are in no pain and that is what will get me through your passing over the Rainbow Bridge. Run and play and enjoy finding Annie, Copper, Aggie, Allie, Scooby, Rocket, and Rosy. I know you will have plenty of loved ones plus you have my Mom, Gaga, and Alice. Well, Skittles it is time for me to go, but know this I love you and miss you more than you ever know.
