Thank you for being a friend. For bringing me sunshine when it rained. You came into my life when I was most vulnerable. I comforted you and you comforted me. Your deep throaty barks at night made me feel safe.

We have been together for 10 years now. We walked together, played together, you made me laugh when I just really wanted to cry...Why did it have to end, my love? Why?

I will miss you I wish that I could keep you for another ten years but life is cruel and age creeps in. Sleep well and rest now. I long to see you on rainbow bridge. Good night my dear friend

Simba was a good fun-loving dog. He was a blood doner, a good guard dog and a good friend. He greeted me every afternoon when I came home from work. He loved to play fetch whether it was with a frizbee, a ball or a stick. He loved fruits as well. Mangoes were his favourite. He liked coconuts as well. He would husk the ones that fell with his teeth so that he could get the jelly to eat it, he even ate plums. I really enjoyed our ten years together. He was a wonderful dog I am happy to have had him.

He was also very attached to me and when we went for car ride, he would put his head on my chest. He was gentle with me despite being a powerful dog. I miss him ever so much.
