Our beloved, Sezja aka Baby Kat, Beauty Kat, Treat Monster was the most amazing cat. She was kind, sweet and had an unparalleled personality. Her name means "protector" and that she certainly was. Every night she would lay on her mommy's legs or tummy until she fell asleep and then she would say her goodnight to find her own cozy spot near the bed. She was a protector and healer of sad emotions. Her mommy's mom had early-onset Alzheimer's and she was a great support and comfort to her during those rough and emotional times. She loved to play and was infinitely curious. We would find her exploring every box, suitcase, making pillow forts and finding new places to play hide and seek. Her favorite time with her daddy was playing with her feather toy, pouncing on his hands under the blanket, and suckering him into giving out more treats. She was smart too. At a very early age she learned to fetch. During the pandemic in 2020 (she was 16 at the time) we taught her to sit. She very dog like that way... Sezja was an amazing office cat as we both worked from home during the years of 2020-2022. We would all spend time in the office together for most of the day. We would take "cuteness breaks" throughout the day to pet her, admire her cuteness, give treats or have a little play time. She certainly helped us get through the day. We will miss her as our assistant and keeper of cuteness and calm. Sezja loved watching birds and we got a feeder just so she could enjoy them more. Mommy and daddy soon followed suit in her bird enthusiasm and made them our friends too. We are just as curious about our winged friends as she was. She was the best pet, most amazing cat one could ask for. Our house will not be the same without her sweet face, breathy meows, and loving cuddles. Sezja will be held in our hearts forever. |
