Memories of Seymour
Seymour brought so much love, affection, and happiness into the life of his mom, dad, brother/sister cats. No one could ask for a sweeter, more loving, smart, and unique cat. He was always there to be the hero boyfriend to our cat Siyah and save his siblings from fighting with each other. Every day we looked forward to seeing him in the am getting ready for work and being there when we got home to greet us. He loved to sit very close to his mom on the couch with a loving paw on her knee. He gave mom and dad kisses to show his affection. He would never hurt a soul. He had all kinds of unique sounds he would make and was a very vocal cat.
Although we had Seymour for only 2 years we had been feeding him when he came to our door every day as a "stray" outside and we named him Battle Cat. We didn't know until we brought him in that he was a sweetheart. He showed us so much love and appreciation for adopting him into our home and he always wanted to be near us. He also enjoyed his food and treats.. lots!
Seymour enjoyed chasing sparkle balls around the house or carrying a toy in his mouth while crying to alert his female girlfriend cat Siyah that he "caught something". He liked to alert mom and dad when all the sparkle balls were stuck underneath the furniture.
The day he was taken from us was so unexpected and shocking. Never will a day go by that we don't have a memory, a picture in our mind, a story to tell, or a tear to shed. When my best friend passed he took a piece of me with him. I hope that he enjoys Rainbow Bridge and I can't wait until the day we can reunite again. Things will never be the same without our wonderful perfect Seymour.
