Scout was the greatest boy ever! I recall dressing him up in silly outfits with my brother and sister. He was always ready for anything, be it walks or trips to the vet. Sister loved him the most and would often take him anywhere with her. I remember when he licked my toe, and the family was overjoyed we got to take him home. Scout was often afraid of thunder, so I would protect him using my wheelchair. I felt like a superhero! I still do. Everyone loved Scout. He was the favorite of the folks we knew, and ones we didn't. I feel like we gave him a true home when life was rough. He taught the family to hold on to hope when the future was bleak. He was, and still is, our protector of hope and light! May you rest in peace, Scout! Thanks for making our hearts joyful! We love you, buddy! :)
