SCOOBERT J. DOG|
JUNE 9, 2007 -- APRIL 27, 2016
Scooby was born on Park Street in Medford Oregon. Clent had always wanted a Pug so we went there to pick him out. He was this little rolly polly ball of energy and it was love at first sight.
Clent was working full time when Scooby was a puppy so most of his training was done by me. We became fast best friends.
In 2010 or so Scooby was playing with a bigger dog and lost his eye. I was so upset, but not him. He had a personality that could carry this.
One time Clent and I fed him too many cherry tomatoes and when I took him out to pee I noticed red urine. I scooped him up and rushed him to the vet where after a urinalysis we learned that he was fine, just too many tomatoes.
Last September the vet took out his spleen because it looked as if there were 2 tumors in there. He healed well and went on Prednisone to help with the pain.
By February he had got diabetes and we checked his eyes for cataracts then. Started him on insulin twice a day and changed his food.
Sunday Scooby woke up blind with a cataracts covering his eye, completely deaf, and he lost his sense of smell.
April 27, 2018, I still miss you my friend. Please visit often for I draw stregnth from that. I love you with everything in me.
Scooby, I haven't visited in a while, but we both know its not because I don't think of you. This morning your great friend Ari crossed over to join you at the bridge. I rest easy knowing she is with you my soul mate. Be gentle with her as she makes this transition. I love you both
Please also visit Jacy & Abby.
