This may sound crazy but I knew I loved Sammy before I met him. I had read in the pennysaver someone trying to find a home for a Chihuahua puppy named Sammy. By the time I called he was taken. I was sad but figured it wasn't meant to be. Two weeks later the same article popped up. I called again and he was available! I was so excited. I didn't ask what happened. I only asked if he was the same dog that they had tried to have placed in a home. We went to pick him up and there he was. The last little pup left. This light brown pup with big brown eyes looking at me from his couch. He came home with us and that was the start of a wonderful 18 year journey with my Sammy.

To anyone who has seen or been around Sam, you know what an amazing and sweet dog he really was. His pack brothers already miss him especially Little D. We're all cuddled and crying together (Ok, I'm crying they're all asleep around me but you get the point).

I'll ALWAYS love my boy. Best dog ever. My heart aches that he's gone but I know he's no longer in pain. My memories of Sam are all over my phone. Proof how much I loved him and his beautiful little face! I love you my Sam Sam ❤️.
