Welcome to Sammy Dickey's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Sammy Dickey
Sammy died peacefully at 11:45PM in my arms as I was carrying him out to the front lawn to pippy. He was the
most mellow, humble, sweet, loyal, handsome and downright FUN Springer Spaniel that planet Earth could ever
have been blessed to have. I will think of him constantly and he will forever have a very special place in all of our
hearts. I know you will miss him dearly also. However, all of my fond memories (the orange stick is still next to the
front door that you used to throw his tennis balls!) of us with him do make me smile, and give all of us solace
knowing that we provided Sammy the best home he could have ever had for the 12 years that we were so lucky to
have him as our companion (our son actually) from your soccer game on 8/2/09 when he found us (that was not
luck, that was clearly destiny as God directed him to us) to last night. Two poems below.
God bless and take good care of Sammy and be sure to continue giving our chow hound lots of treats as that keeps
Dad and Mom
