Memories of Sammy
We adopted you one Friday afternoon in 2011, Chloe was alone and missing our Magnolia.. It was Memorial Day weekend. You were such a sweet little gentlemen. Your info sheet advised us that you were about three years old, your name was Cowboy and you liked to swim. We decided to call you Samuel, then just Sammy. You didn't respond to Cowboy, lol. You were never interested in swimming.

You and Patrick were best buddies and you loved laying across his lap and getting a belly rub and nice nap. You enjoyed riding in the golf cart and Chloe was your first best canine friend.
You were a Oak Ridge neighborhood favorite pup. You barked at Mrs Carole and Mr. Hunter every day. You demanded their attention and Mrs Carole always had a treat for you. She would bring Rosie and Indie to visit you too. She was as heartbroken as me last week and we are all still grieving. They lost Rosie last week too.
Mr Charlie and Mrs Viki would bring Arthur to see you, he also brought you treats. Mr. Alton's crew always shared their lunch with you. The Fed Ex truck driver brought you treats and Mrs Beverly brought you a couple of pieces of bacon every Wednesday.
You were the biggest flopper and LOVED belly rubs. I loved when you got your groomed and your beautiful black springer spaniel spots would shine!
We miss you terribly my little man and I know I will give you belly rubs again one day. Sending hugs and think of you every single day. We love you Sammy.
