Rupp was a special dog. When we lost Zeus we were heartbroken and purchased Rupp as a 10 week old puppy. He quickly became our soul mate he went everywhere with us to include sneaking him into Rupp arena in KY to get a picture of him on the old basketball floor with the Rupp Arena emblem. He loved the water and if you were swimming he assumed you needed him to rescue you and would swim over to you turn around and offer his tail to pull you back to shore. He used to grab the grandkids by their life jackets and pull them to shore. He was always the protector of his family. Rupp loved to ride in the truck and always got excited if you said "want to go for a ride". He loved boating and camping and when he saw us hooking up the boat or camper he and his wingman Cal (our other shepherd) would go crazy in the house running around and whining until we opened the door to let them load up in the truck. I used to say 'I'm so excited and I just can't hide it". We will forever miss you and there is an emptiness on the farm that only you could fill. I still see you everywhere. Hope you, Bandit and Gizmo all made it to the bridge and are so happy together. We all miss you boys |
