I remember the day that i agreed to take Isabella ( then her name was Alana) but chose to give her this name. After not having a cat for over 10 yrs because of such bereavement following the passing of my previous cat and a visiting neighbour's cat that made herself very welcome in our garden for a number of years before it had became frowned upon by the neighbour claiming I had stolen their cat. No one steals a cat, unlike a dog a cat chooses where to be. I sadly lost sight of Max the cat at the time of COVID. It was during this time I thought i might be ready for another kitty and sought all local cats protection and RSPCA centres to find one but no cats were available, all were being snatched up because of COVID. Then a friend told me about a charity in Romania and within a couple of days had adopted Isabella from Romania. I instantly fell in love with her and a bond had already formed from only seeing pictures and videos . Isabella took the long journey from Romania as we eagerly anticipated her arrival. When she finally arrived, my hubby collected her from the waiting transportation. We popped her in a carrier and Isabella was brought inside the house. Slowly we opened the door of the carrier and she ran and tried to hide, gradually she built her confidence and then would come our from hiding when called. Isabella transitioned into the most beautiful loving soul one could ever wish for. Her intelligence and unique quirkiness set her apart from any feline fur babies we have ever had before. My dearest earth angel Isabella, we had 5 beautiful years with you. Our hearts are broken and empty, you really were loved so much. Your time on earth may have come to an end , but the heavens have gained a beautiful earth angel. Until we meet again, Elizabeth, Simon and James
