Welcome to Pookie's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Pookie
We inherited Martha and Henry's boy, Pookie. When the old couple died, mom and i took Pookie in.He was the loudest boy cat,in th world, who prefered to be the only furbaby in the house.Cat mom,Rose, adored him.He was her "son",as she called him.He knew he was a very loved kitty and ate it all up.It had become quite apparant to us that we had rescued a gentile, but strong willed indoor/outdoor male cat with his own agenda. Then the tumor on the right side of his head had relentlessly kept coming back each of the 9,or so,times that we had it surgically removed. It was evident he had an aggressive form of cancer that would have the final say in his long suffering fight for his life,a kitty life that he was so grounded in.The little guy loved his world, his family, food, water, and freedom. And god knows how he faught to keep it all.His battle was lost on june 3, 2014.We love him with all of our hearts, and will forever be empty without you and your sweet loving way.Gox bless our baby Pookie now over the rainbow bridge, free at last from his suffering in his previous life.God bless you as you wait at the foot of that bridge when were we will be together again some day.♥♥♥♥♥♥.
