Memories of Pete
Pete "Petey Buck" Miller
August 31, 2005 - February 6, 2017

Pete joined the family in October of 2005 when he was 8 weeks old. It did not take long for this lovable huckster to win over our hearts. He was a mess, and I mean literally a mess. It seemed like it took forever to house break, stop chewing on things, taking things and all of the normal puppy stuff. But he finally settled down into the roll of "medium dog" behind our german shepherd, Ruby. They were great companions to each other and to the family. When Ruby passed, Pete became the "big dog".

Over the years he grew into a wonderful companion and walking partner. He and I, and later he, myself and Guinness, our black lab, walked many a mile over the years. Even the morning of his passing, we went for a walk and he seemed fine. My guess is God needed a slobbering, wet faced Italian Spinone by his side and Pete was called up home.

We are going to miss you Pete. You were such a great companion and Daddy misses you not following him around the house in the morning.

Rest in Peace my dear "Petey Buck". Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Love,

Daddy.
