Patches, You left us on 11/30/09 but you know your picture has been seen by so many people ever day since you left us. You're with Willie now and I know he's happy to have you with him. But we miss you SO much!! You were an independent little kid but you certainly didn't neglect us at all. :) You were the PERFECT kitty. You slept when you were supposed to and ate when it was dinner time. You were always the perfect lady. Today is very special - 17 yrs. ago today, you and Willie came to live with us. We had you both for 16 yrs. and they were the most beautiful and special years of our lives. I stayed awake until 4:30 in the morning because you and Willie were wandering around the house and I didn't want you to get hurt. But I finally fell asleep. When I woke up, you and Willie had gotten up onto the bed and fell asleep between your dad and me. It was one of the cutest things I had ever seen! I don't think you will ever know how special you made our lives - you showed us every day what love is. I just hope that you know how much we loved you and I hope we made your lives just a little bit happy. Your dad misses you because you would sit with him every night and watch golf for HOURS - that was a very special time for him. But you would manage to find time for me, too. :) :) Kenny and Grace are still with us and I know they miss you, too. Give Willie a big hug for me. I know you're both healthy and chubby again and I know you're happy to be with each other again. Happy 17th birthday to my Willie Ron and Patches Marie!!
