Welcome to Ozzie's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Ozzie
A real character who endeared himself to all who met him. He was, above all else, a LOVED cat, a cat who brightened any room he entered, a cat who exuded love and a cat nobody could resist. Unfortunately, he was taken illl, initially towards the end of July, and diagnosed with a granuloma on his intestine - a complaint which appeared to respond to treatment with steroids and an antibiotic, but his recovery was short-lived, as he suffered a number of setbacks, each one characterised by a loss of appetite. His final blood tests showed that he did, in fact, have feline infectious peritonitis, an invariably fatal disease. He died peacefully on 28 October 2017, at the age of 8 years and 1 month, surrounded by people who loved him. Many thanks to all at the Cardiff Cat Clinic for doing their best for my boy, who will be sadly missed forever. ♥
