Oreo was given to Daddy Burton by Daddy Jerry as a birthday gift in August 2011. We could have never imagined the joy this little guy would bring into our lives over the years.

Together, we bought our first home, navigated the loss of family and friends, made it through a pandemic, and shared countless memories. Through every chapter of our lives, Oreo was right there with us, offering unconditional love, comfort, and companionship.

In 2020, Oreo was diagnosed with diabetes. Yet his strong, energetic, and playful spirit never faded. Not even twice-daily insulin injections, the loss of his favorite treats, prescription food, or countless trips to the veterinarian could slow him down. Even after losing his sight and much of his hearing, his love for his daddies and for everyone whose life he touched never changed.

Our sweet boy, you will be missed more than words can ever express. Go run, play, see again, and enjoy all the treats your heart desires.
